The current site started out as a humble cannery, but is now home to the architecturally designed Nozawa Onsen Distillery. The barrel hall doubles as a tasting room replete with exposed beams, wood, glass and engineered lattice work. Making use of the abundant fresh water and many botanicals found in the local mountain habitat, the distillery is exploring unique and diverse flavours frontiers that express the spirit of Nozawa Onsen.
